Hudson Pride, Hudson County’s LGBT seniors will finally be receiving much needed critical social, recreational, educational, and support services through Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders – SAGE Northern NJ! SAGE Northern NJ, a program of Hudson Pride Connections Center, will begin to offer services – the first of its kind in New Jersey. We are proud to be the only SAGE chapter in New Jersey and will be providing GLBT seniors with a safe space to socialize, learn about important health issues, receive information about ensuring their financial well-being, support for coming out, and to connect with other GLBT seniors. SAGE Northern NJ will also providing educational workshops and trainings to human service providers about the needs of GLBT seniors and how to provide appropriate and sensitive services to them.
