Parade General Information
The annual Hudson Pride LGBT Pride Parade is growing faster than ever. Last year, our first parade ever, attracted hundreds of cheering spectators and significant media participation.
Date: Sunday, October 9, 2011
Time: 11:00 am
Location: The parade begins on Grove Street directly in front of City Hall and ends at Exchange Place.
To participate in the parade you need to fit into one of the categories below:
- Non-profit Organization: This includes organizations sanctioned by the IRS with a 501(c)(3) status or those with 501(c) (3) applications pending.
- Individual or Social Organization: This category is for those entries representing an individual or a group without a tax status.
- Local Businesses: This category includes any business placed within San Diego County.
- Government / Political: This category includes elected officials, City, State, Federal, Tribal / agencies, those running for a political office, organizations that improve business conditions, and organizations having a 501 c (4),(6), or 527 status.
- National Corporations or Franchises: This category includes entities with locations in more than one state or country.

Festival General Information
When: Sunday, October 9, 2011
Hours: 12:00-7:00pm
Location: On the Waterfront, One Exchange Place, Downtown Jersey City
One of Jersey City’s most diverse cultural Festival’s Hudson Pride includes entertainment, bands, comedy and dance performers, vendor booths, cultural presentations, and good food!
Highlights include: Performers, A Youth Dance-A-Thon, Beer Tents, a Wine Tasting, dancing, Cool Zone for those 55+, Art of Pride (LGBT local artists), YouthConnect Zone, and vendors. We invite families, youth, and people of all ages to participate in our annual Pride Festival.
We are looking for sponsor support! We are currently seeking individuals to sponsor a youth who will be participating in our Dance-A-Thon to raise money for our YouthConnect, our LGBT youth program. Youth who participate in this event will receive a goodie bag of cool stuff, learn where to find first aid, and will be given a copy of the Youth “Creed to Stay Safe”….stick together and respect the zero tolerance for drugs and underage drinking.
We welcome all ages to the 11th Annual Hudson Pride Festival!
