Kimberly Aguirre (she/her/ella) is a Health Educator at the Hudson Pride Center. Kimberly’s role focuses on our LGBTQ+ youth. She works directly with schools across Hudson County to provide the educational institutions staff with the trainings, support, and resources they need to build affirming safe spaces for queer and trans students. In addition she also supports the students and LGBTQ+ student groups within the schools.
Outside of her school-based work, Kimberly co-facilitates Hudson Pride’s weekly YouthConnect workshops and provides social service and mental health referrals for our LGBTQ+ youth.
Kimberly is pursuing her Bachelors of Social Work at Rutgers University and plans to continue her education by attending a Masters of Social Work program. She is also a proud momma of two kittens. Together they go on coffee dates, walks by the park, and even hit up T.J. Maxx to stock up on more toys & treats than they’ll ever need. Wherever Kim goes, you’ll be sure to find her fur babies with her.
