Benjamin Feldman is a native New Jerseyan and a proud resident of Jersey City since 2016. Drawn to the city’s diverse community and vibrant cultural opportunities, Ben lives in the Van Vorst Park neighborhood with his husband Sam.

Ben serves as the Deputy Chief Communications Officer of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey. He joined the Port Authority in 2018 after serving on the transition team for Governor Philip Murphy of New Jersey. He has served in various policy and communications roles at the federal, state and local levels, as well as in the private sector. At the Port Authority, Ben helps coordinate the activities of the agency’s Media Relations, Marketing and Brand & Customer Partnerships departments while working with agency leadership to ensure delivery of critical projects and initiatives.

Ben joined the Board of the Hudson Pride Center in 2022. He looks forward to finding ways to use his experiences in government, politics and communications to further the organization’s mission of advocating for the wellbeing of the LGBTQ Community.
