Hudson Pride Center’s Clinical Director, Dr. David Rosen has been part of the team since 2001. In addition to providing clinical oversight and supervision of HPC programs, affirming care trainings for providers, agencies and public institutions and numerous other integral services at HPC, he also chairs the Hudson County Ryan White HIV Education Committee and oversees HPC’s quality management efforts. Additionally, David serves as a Part-Time Lecturer for the MSW Program at Rutgers University, where he currently teaches a graduate course on LGBTQ+ Issues in Social Work, and he is the Director of Education and Training at LGBT Senior Housing and Care. A New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 1998, David earned his MSW from Rutgers University in 1996 and his Doctorate in Behavioral Health (DBH) from Arizona State University in 2012. Originally from NYC, David happily moved to Jersey City over 20 years ago, where he still resides, but now with his husband of 19 years and two rather destructive (yet lovable) cats. The irony of a trained Behavioral Health Provider being unable to keep two cats from continuously wreaking havoc on household furniture has not gone unnoticed by his husband – or the cats.
