Karla Oliva (She/Her/Ella) is a Client Services Navigator for the Hudson Pride Center. Her role focuses on ensuring that members of the LGBTQ+ & HIV affected community, especially those recently diagnosed with HIV or who have fallen out of HIV care, receive the highest level of support and assistance. Karla supports individuals in accessing a multi-faceted array of programs ranging from in-house HIV testing or take home testing kits, referrals for STI testing, connection to medical care and preventative services such as PrEP and PEP, referrals for mental health services, and a number of other health and social services. Each client’s needs are different and our Client Services Navigators are available to support each individual with their journey in care.    

Before joining the team at Hudson Pride Center, Karla worked in various roles within the medical field. Her previous employment as a Patient Care Coordinator for a mental health facility focused on assisting and supporting individuals  experiencing mental health related issues. Karla is passionate about giving back to the community she calls home. She considers herself to be a food connoisseur and a hip hop enthusiast. Karla spends most of her downtime drawing and discovering new music!
