Ashley Frost (She/Her)
Health Educator
Ashley Frost (She/Her) is a Bronx born, New Jersey raised Health Educator at Hudson Pride Center. Ashley’s role focuses on supporting our LGBTQ+ youth’s health needs. She works directly with schools across Hudson County to provide the educational institutions staff with the training, support, and resources they need to build affirming safe spaces for queer and trans students. Her role extends to providing support to parents of LGBTQ+ children as well!
As a Health Educator for Hudson Pride, Ashley is fulfilling one of her deepest passions – to assist folks with their health and wellness journey! After witnessing others struggle to navigate their own needs and find proper support, Ashley realized she wanted to work for an organization where she could create safe spaces, provide support, and advocate to dismantle stigma surrounding sexuality and mental health wellness. This motivated her to volunteer at LGBTQ+ Youth specific organizations in NJ and New York. And the rest is history!
Currently, Ashley is studying at New Jersey City University to complete her Bachelor’s degree. She loves indulging in yoga & meditation, as well as reading self help books. It is safe to say Ashley can be described as anything self-care related! She is proud to be a part of the Hudson Pride Center team!
